BHOOMAYA FOUNDATION
FOR YOGA & SEVA

About Us
Bhoomaya” is a Sanskrit word that can be broken down into two parts:
– “Bhoo” (भू) means “earth” or “land”
– “Maya” (मय) means “made of” or “composed of”
So, “Bhoomaya” (भूमय) indeed means “made of earth” or “earthly”. This word Bhoomaya describes something that is connected/ related/ associated to the earth,
In a broader sense, “Bhoomaya” also symbolizes being grounded, connected to nature, and having a strong foundation, much like the earth beneath our feet.
We at Bhoomaya foundation have strong feelings that by incorporating yoga into lifestyle, individuals can experience a greater sense of harmony and balance, leading to a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

From humble beginnings to a decade of growth! We started sharing yoga with just 4 children 10 years ago. Today, we’re more than delighted to have reached 40 children! It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re grateful for the support and love from our community.

Our journey has been steady and slow, but our commitment to sharing yoga with young minds has only grown stronger. We aspire to teach many more children in the years to come, slowly but surely.
